Environmental exposures, environmental insurance

As UK environmental legislation evolves, businesses face complicated exposures that can potentially cost time and money, disrupt operations, undermine reputations and result in prosecutions or, in extreme cases, imprisonment.  This education programme aims to clarify some of the issues, so insurance professionals can have meaningful discussions with clients about possible areas of exposure and the relevant insurance solutions. Each of the 5 modules takes only a few minutes to complete and should be taken consecutively.

Begin Module 1 - Environmental insurance basics

Begin Module 2 - Environmental legislation

Begin Module 3 - Environmental enforcement

Begin Module 4 - Practical issues for businesses

Begin Module 5 - Environmental insurance

The AIG Environmental Insurance Programme has been made possible thanks to the support and advice of the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII).  Their professional accreditation means that participants are entitled to 20 Continous Professional Development credits for each successfully completed module - 100 credits for the complete programme.  A completion certificate can be printed at the end of each module.
